Youth & Our Hawker Teaser

Is hawker culture really dying due to youths’ under-appreciation of hawker centres or is there a more underlying and pressing issue regarding its sustainability? People are pointing their fingers at everything they can with the ongoing debate of the sustainability of hawker centres. But it is time that we address the matters correctly and the ongoing efforts to preserve hawker centres and its historical value as well as how the government is actually encouraging the youths to appreciate their hawker centres.
